APR 2021 WORKSHOPS FOR TRADITIONAL PHYLLO CREATIONS

After a long break due to the pandemic, we organized workshops for 10 consecutive days at our premises. 4-5 people each day took part in a 4-hour class curated by our chef Giorgos Vryonides, making traditional Greek and Middle Eastern pastries using phyllo and kateifi.  

 

It was the perfect opportunity for our customers to use and taste our new product range from Nikiforides Foods in Greece (http://www.nikiforidisfoods.com/). Beautiful colors, exciting flavors and new ideas! All safety measures and restrictions applied and all attendees needed to show a negative rapid test done within 48 hours of their workshop.

DEC 2019 DEMONSTRATIONS WITH FRANCOIS GALTIER

On the 4th and 5th of December, our company in association with our long-time supplier BAKBEL of Belgium, organized pastry demonstration with renowned pastry chef Francois Galtier. Francois is a bronze medal winner at the Pastry World Cup in 2009 and he created 5 unique recipes just for our Cypriot customers.

 

The event took place at the brand new facilities of CITY UNITY COLLEGE in Nicosia and more than 40 professionals attended on each day. The participants loved the appearance and the flavors of Francois’ creations and we believe it was one of the best seminars we ever organized!

NOV 2018 DEMONSTRATIONS WITH ITALIAN CHEF

On the 21st and 22nd of November 2018, our company hosted demonstrations with Italian chef Francesco Drudi from Master Martini and ANGEO’s chef Giorgos Vryonides. The main focus of the seminars was chocolate pralines. During the demo, we showcased the Ariba range of real chocolate from Master Martini, the new compound creams of Caravella range and products from our new Italian supplier, Martellato.

 

Almost 100 people attended the events who were treated to an array of different flavors and colors from the chefs! We would like to thank everyone who attended the demos, our good friends from Master Martini for the support and all our staff members for the excellent preparation.

 

NOV 2017 BI-ANNUAL GASTRONOMIA EXHIBITION

From the 23-26th of November, our company proudly took part in the bi-annual exhibition that took place at the National Fair in Nicosia. The exhibition is co-organized by the Cyprus Chefs Association.

 

We had a 30 square meters stand together with our Greek supplier for cake mixes, FOODSTUFF. It was an amazing experience during which we had the opportunity to meet with many clients, discuss business opportunities and exchange ideas about the new culinary year.

 

Special thanks to our Sales Manager Kostas Konstantas and our chef Giorgos Vryonides for the preparation of the wonderful creations we had on display and of course all our partners from Greece that joined us! See you in 2019!

APR 2017 SPONSORSHIP EVENT - TOP PASTRY CHEF CYPRUS

The Competition: Students were challenged to make their most creative and delicious desserts, competing to win a sponsored trip by ANGEO.

 

How it worked: The professors choose 10 ingredients from ANGEO product catalogue and the students had 1 hour to create a restaurant dessert using those ingredients.

What they win: The winner will receive an all-expense paid trip to the biggest factory in Europe for pastry ingredients, our partners, Unigra in Italy.

The winner will be announced very soon !!

We aim to further the mission of enhancing the culinary standards of the Cypriot cuisine along with the Cyprus Chef's Association.  By donating to this non-profit organization we help fund their trips to international competitions, putting Cyprus on the world culinary map.  We also are a main sponsor of the Regional Cyprus Culinary Team (the gateway team to the National Team) and have received “thank you awards” for our participation.  With our continued support we hope to see them grow and improve year in and year out.
