Our History
FOUNDED
It all began in 1980 when Andreas & Georgia Charalambous believed the Cypriot market had the right to create pastries, breads, and ice creams with better ingredients than those available. Operating as a family company, they established themselves as a reseller & distributor of retail products & trader of ingredients. They were the first company of its kind to deal with specialized food ingredients.
1980
THE NEW GENERATION
The son of Andreas & Georgia, Tasos, who was around the company and industry his entire life, started in the company as Sales & Marketing manager. In 2013, Tasos took over as managing director & the original owners, Andreas & Georgia, retired.
2009
SOLE FOCUS

The retail division was sold in order to focus exclusively on the ingredients division.
CHANGE IN MANAGEMENT
2013
Tasos, the son of Andreas & Georgia, took over as managing director & the original owners, Andreas & Georgia, retired. The company remains in the family today.

Today Angeo remains among the top 5 in the market and is one of the few companies dealing exclusively with ingredients.
